As Icenet Telekom Hizmetleri A.Ş, we are pleased to announce that it has set up backup satellite internet service to the election coordination center determined in Istanbul as part of preparation for the local elections to be held on May 14.
Satellite Internet Service will be used to provide internet access to the election coordination center in case of a possible internet outage. Satellite internet service is an internet access service provided via satellite independently of the terrestrial internet. This service is provided using satellite signals that send internet signals via satellite antenna and are captured by receiving devices. For this reason, the election coordination center's use of backup satellite internet service ensures that it can operate uninterruptedly even in the event of possible internet interruptions.
